Ragged Staff Wharf, Queensway Quay – Exclusive marina facing apartment

This project involved the full renovation of a 2 bedroom apartment in Ragged Staff Wharf.

Key works:

New partition arrangement designed to incorporate an open-plan kitchen and living area

A larger en-suite bathroom was created by removing a wall between the original small en-suite bathroom and a cupboard

Creation of a utility/ airing cupboard to house washing machine and tumble dryer and shelving for linens

New plasterboard ceilings were installed to accommodate new ceiling layout with spot lights

Complete electrical re-wiring

Installation of a new Lutron lighting control system throughout

Sonos sound system with in-ceiling speakers

Complete re-plumbing, including changing the plumbing layout and moving the position of the new boiler to the airing cupboard

New engineered Oak flooring throughout

New low-E double-glazed  timber windows and French doors in keeping with the style of the development

State-of-the-art kitchen including American-style fridge freezer, steam oven, warming drawer and boiling water tap

Stylish new bathrooms incorporating underfloor heating and exciting lighting effects

Porcelanosa tiling and Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware

Mirrored wardrobes with sliding doors to maximise space

Bespoke carpentry to increase storage space and enlarge the feeling of space in the apartment


Queensway Quay – Unique marina facing apartment

This project involved overseeing the conversion of a 3 bedroom apartment into a large open plan 1 bedroom apartment in Queensway Quay.

Key Works:

Demolition of all but 2 internal walls

The creation of a large open-plan kitchen / living / study area

New one large open-plan master bedroom and bathroom

New plasterboard ceilings were installed to incorporate LED spot lights and a shadow gap design incorporated into the ceiling to house an LED lighting strip

Complete re-wiring of the whole apartment with new electrical plan

Installation of new Lutron lighting control system

Complete re-plumbing, including changing the plumbing layout and moving the position of the new boiler

New bespoke  timber double-glazed windows and patio doors

New minimalist kitchen with streamlined wall-to-ceiling units and sliding peninsula worktop to create a dining table when required

New concrete  flooring tiles throughout

Underfloor heating throughout

New internal sand-blasted glass doors, including fire doors and sliding doors

Textured tiles on the bathroom feature wall

Large open-plan wet room with amazing lighting scheme

Philippe Stark sanitary ware and fittings

Automatic blinds on all windows and balcony doors
